About Dept. of Geography

The Department of Geography established in June 2002 along with the establishment of the college. Well qualified and committed faculty has been working in the department since its establishment.

         The department is engaged in the academic and community development activities such as organizing workshop for farmers, this department of geography-organized state, Level study tour. We also organized university & State level workshop on “Water Conservation” on online Zoom Platform

          In Sangamner taluka 75% of population   lives in rural area & engaged in agriculture there for the awareness of agriculture activities among the students through the agriculture geography for awareness of socio economic development of students through the different branches Of Geography.
