Nutan
Arts, Commerce and Science College, Rajapur, Tal. Sangamner, Dist. Ahilyanagar,
established in 2002. The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune
University, Pune and has shown consistent academic growth over the years. This
reputed institution, founded by the Comrade Hon. Shri. P.B. Shahane under
Pragatik Shikshan Sanstha, is committed to imparting quality education to
students from all sections of society. The as green college campus spread over
5 acres area. Education is not merely the training of the mind but also the
cultivation of character, knowledge and wisdom.
History
Our
Rajapur is a famous historical place in Maharashtra. It is situated on the bank
of river Mhalungi. It is 4 km away from Sangamner Taluka at its West, It is For
socio-political movements. This place is Famous Place for civilized farmers, Workers, Bidi workers.
Rajapur has always raised Voice for the problems of these people. It is a
workplace of many great leaders. The people of Rajapur have participated in
1930s Combat, and but also in 1942s. Agitation March Rajapur village has not
left its progressive ideology .the villagers always fought against injustice of
the established. On 9th March 1950 people of Rajapur has denied the forced
recovery of Levy with the help of kisan Sabha. Youth have denied government's
order. Police has done a Shoot and three young people kashinath Kadam,
Murlidhar Golekar and Mauli Gaikwad were became martyr. Rajapur has eracted the
Hutatma Memorial in the village and every year 9th March people remember and
commemoral them. In this way, this revolutionary Village came together to
facilitate education to children of the poor, widi worker, farmer. They have
established Pragatik Shikshan Sanstha in 1974. In the beginning they, had
started Nutan High school by raising 1 rupee donation in 1983. They have
expanded the Sanstha by Starting Junior
college
in 1992. It is a proud moment to declare that Sanstha has started Nutan Arts
college with the blessings of Comred Sahane Master who got Life-time
Achievement Award by Pune university. Sahane Master has worked for widi
workers, tobacco workers, forest Suppliers. The founder member Secretory and
directors established senior College on 15th July 2002. Firstly they started
Art faculty, then Commerce faculty have in 2001 and Science in 2013. Thousands
of students are benefitted of higher education through this institute. Our students
Various fields on working in on various post, which is an asset of our
institution.

The
college is committed to uplift the poor and rural students considering
constraint shown by the rural students, the college authorities take almost
care and make every possible effort for the academic standard of rural
students. The college organises proper and moderate extra
mural activities to seek all round development of the students.
The teacher’s pay individual attentions and keep vigil over, day to day
behavior and academic performance of the students. The college authorities
establish report with parents or guardians and arrange to keep them
well informed from time to time about the performance of their wards.
Location
The college is near Sangamner at 4 k. m. away from the sangamner S. T. Bus stand. The College campus stretches over 5 acres of its own land.
